Selkirk Park Community Trail

In the City of Selkirk, discover a bird-themed trail system, offering four paths of varying lengths to suit every adventurer. Named after the birds you’re likely to encounter, the trails include the Chickadee (2 km), Blue Jay (200 m), Red Wing Blackbird (3.5+ km), and Mallard (875 m) routes.

Along the way, take advantage of the rest and picnic stops, perfect for relaxing and soaking in the natural surroundings. Some paths also feature interpretive signage for an engaging, interactive experience.

The trails wind through the Marine Museum and extend into the Selkirk Park, connecting visitors to additional amenities such as swimming, camping, a boat launch, and seasonal attractions from spring through fall.
