Fishing on Film!

Red River North is fishing country, especially deep into winter. Once only for the brave of heart, ice fishing has exploded in popularity and continues to grow. The annual appearance of shacks and tents on the Red RIver from Lockport north to the lake begins as soon as the ice is thick enough - usually in December. On ice access to these “villages” by car, truck, and snowmobile continues into March.

It’s not just walleye in these waters. There is an abundance of Sauger, drum, channel catfish, and other species.
