GMCC & RV Park Central Market
The Grand Marais Community Central Market offers baked goods, fresh veggies, handcrafted items, and artisanal products. After browsing the market, be sure to step inside the East Beaches Heritage Wing. It’s a small, interactive museum that shares the rich history of the lake and the people of the East Beaches. Admission is free!
The market runs every Friday throughout the summer, from June 27 to September 5, 2025.

Porch Performances
Every Thursday evening in July and August, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., the St. Andrews Rectory & Heritage Centre invites you to unwind and enjoy free Porch Performances!
Bring your lawn chair, a blancket, or sit at one of the many picnic tables on the property. Grab freshly popped popcorn and a cold drink before you kick back and relax!
Each week will feature different artists and musicial styles.

Glitter by the River
The Friends of Lower Fort Garry are celebrating their 40th Anniversary in style this summer! Glitter by the River is an outdoor cocktail party on the historic grounds of Lower Fort Garry, where guests are transported back fro the glitz and glamour of the Roaring 20s.

A portion of the funds raised at Glitter by the River will support a memorial scholarship for a Selkirk High School graduate, free or reduced-cost activities for local youth (including children from Nova House), and training and job opportunities for young people.

This waterfront market runs the last two Wednesdays in July and every Wednesday in August from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., rain or shine (with exceptions for thunderstorms or extreme weather for safety).
Location: Along Superior Ave, Behind the Mighty Kiwi (386 Eveline St, Selkirk).
Morning Birding Walk
Explore Oak Hammock Marsh with one of their nature interpreters as you look for birds. Bring your own binoculars or use the ones provided.

Glow Fitness and Selkirk Kayak Centre is offering Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga at the Selkirk Kayak Centre in Selkirk Park.
Follow Peony Wolf for a demonstrative workshop on the creek. Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to get set up. Lifejackets are required and can be provided if needed.
