Robbie Burns Night
The Clandeboye Community Club is hosting a Robbie Burns Night on Saturday Janurary 25th.
Doors open at 6:30pm with entertainment featuring the Clandeboye Pipe Band and highland dancers. Enjoy a evening of fun, prizes, and food. There will be a light lunch, cash bar and a silent auction.

Ski Library Event
WinterPeg Mobile Ski Library will be bringing winter equipment to the trails at the St. Andrews Larters Golf Course on Feb. 8, from 1-5PM. If you’re interested and haven’t picked up skis before—here’s your chance to try out a new winter activity! Adaptive equipment is also available for folks with some disabilities.
This is a free event for all ages and abilities to attend.

Learn to Ice Fish
Beaches of 59 are hosting their annual Learn to Ice Fish on February 15, on Lake Winnipeg at Yellow Brick Road, Belair, Manitoba in the RM of Alexander. Choose from 1 of the 2 available sessions, morning or afternoon. This event is for newbies, or people without their own equipment, to come see what it is all about!
They are hosting two (three hour sessions) ranging from $25-$45/per person. Space is limited, max 65 people per time slot. All required equipment will be provided for use free of charge during the event. You can purchase your rod and reel combo for an additional $20.00 ($45 total)!

Snowshoe Walk at Oak Bluff
Oak Hammock Marsh is hosting a guided snowhow walk at Oak Bluff on Janurary 19.
Explore the Oak Bluff on snowshoes with their guide to experience a different area of Oak Hammock Marsh, a picturesque wooded area located on the east side of the Marsh.
Expect to be snowshoeing for approximately 60 minutes. Please consider using a sleigh if you are bringing little snowshoers. Snowshoes are provided. Maximum number of people is 12 for this activity. Pre-registration required. Sign up here!
Pet Cafe Fundraiser
The St. Andrews Heritage Centre is hosting a Pet Cafe Fundraiser on Janurary 18th. Come meet all the adoptable pets and start the new year right! Whether you are looking to adopt or just spend some time with the animals. Refreshments will be available.
All donations go towards helping these shelter pets find forever homes. No registration required.

Celebrate the holiday season with a splash! Join the Selkirk Community Pool’s Christmas Pool Party on December 13, 2024. Registration is now open—contact them on Facebook for payment options.
Choose from two ticket options:
$10.00: Swim and watch the movie from the pool.
$5.00: Watch the movie from the viewing deck.
Refreshments and snacks will be available for purchase, and a debit machine will be on-site. Don’t forget to bring a floatie if you’re swimming, or a blanket and folding chairs for a cozy viewing deck experience.

Christmas on the Red River Settlement
Visitors are invited to step back in time to 1854 and experience Christmas as it was celebrated in the early years of the Red River Settlement at the St. Andrews Heritage Centre.
The event features a 30-minute guided tour of the Rectory, led by costumed interpreters, offering insights into historical Christmas traditions and the settlement's heritage. Children can participate in painting ceramic ornaments, while guests explore a selection of holiday gifts.
Additionally, Barb Hoffmann will be on-site from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., creating caricatures for $10 per subject on a drop-in basis—an excellent opportunity to find a unique and personal Christmas gift.
