Set sail on a journey through Manitoba's maritime history at the Marine Museum of Manitoba, located in Selkirk—just 40 minutes from downtown Winnipeg. Since 1972, this unique museum showcases six historic ships, including the S.S. Keenora, Manitoba’s oldest steamship, all connected by walkways for a one-of-a-kind exploration. Step aboard these vessels, marvel at marine artifacts, and even visit a real Lake Winnipeg lighthouse to experience the region's rich nautical past.

Open from the May long weekend to September, the museum offers guided tours upon request and hosts exciting events throughout the summer. Don’t miss their beloved pancake breakfasts or venture into the spine-chilling Halloween Haunt during spooky season.

The Marine Museum of Manitoba is located at the entrance of Selkirk Park at 444 Eveline Street, Selkirk.

    The Marine Museum of Manitoba offers tours for scheduled groups of between 10 to 75 visitors.

    Come and enjoy a hearty breakfast of pancakes and sausages with your choice of coffee or juice at a reasonable cost. All money raised goes towards ship restoration and maintaining the museum.
