Gifts of the Red Trail
Gifts of the Red Interpretive Trail is located within the Lockport Provincial Heritage Park in Lockport, Manitoba. The park is home to one of Manitoba's most significant archaeological sites and lies adjacent to the St. Andrews Locks and Dam.
The trail is only 700 metres long with 10 interpretive signs, offering insights into the history of the location, the river's dynamic environment, and the great herds of bison that once roamed the banks. The trail provides plenty of shaded areas under mature trees and has lots open green spaces to sit and relax.
