St. Clements Anglican Church
Established in 1860, St. Clement’s Anglican Church and Cemetery is one of the oldest and most historically significant sites in Manitoba. The church was constructed under the guidance of stonemason Samuel Taylor, with the first service held in December 1861.
The sturdy stone structure, designed in the English Parish Gothic Revival style, features a crenellated bell tower added in 1928 and pointed arch windows and doors. Inside visitors can admire stunning stained glass windows created by renowned artist Leo Mol.
Surrounding the church is a vast cemetery which holds the graves of many founding families of Selkirk. This peaceful and historic property offers a glimpse into the area’s rich heritage and enduring architectural beauty.
The St. Clements Anglican Church is located at 1178 River Rd, St Andrews.
