Selkirk Canoe and Kayak Centre

Since 1991, the Selkirk Canoe & Kayak Centre (SCKC) has been a hub for paddling enthusiasts of all ages and abilities. Nestled in the scenic Selkirk Park, SCKC is located at the Estuary—an inlet of the Red River with calm waters and minimal boat traffic. This safe and serene environment is perfect for learning to paddle or simply enjoying nature’s beauty. Keep an eye out for local wildlife like osprey, blue herons, eagles, beavers, turtles, and deer as you explore!

Operated by a volunteer board, SCKC is a non-profit recreational paddling club dedicated to providing memorable on-the-water experiences. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned paddler, you can rent a variety of watercraft, including canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, and even dragon boats.

Discover the joy of paddling and connect with nature at the Selkirk Canoe and Kayak Centre!
