River Road Provincial Park

River Road Provincial Park is a unique collection of six distinct sites stretching along River Road (Provincial Road 238) south of Highway 44. These sites include the River Road entrance node, riverbank fishing access, Scott House, Twin Oaks, Kennedy House and gardens, and the north entrance interpretive node.

The park offers a blend of natural beauty and historical significance. Visitors can explore historic stone houses and ruins from the Red River Settlement era, with interpretive displays sharing the story of the nearby quarry that provided much of the stone. The riverbank fishing access site allows anglers to cast a line into the Red River, while other locations along the park provide opportunities for picnicking, scenic walks, and learning about the area's rich heritage.
