Patricia Beach

Patricia Beach-PC-Nataliia Zagora

Patricia Beach Provincial Park stretches 2.5 kilometers along the southeast shore of Balsam Bay on Lake Winnipeg, offering a mix of natural beauty and recreational opportunities. The park features a pristine sand beach, shifting dunes, a lagoon, and marshlands creating diverse habitats for wildlife.

It’s a haven for birdwatchers, with opportunities to spot water birds and even the endangered Piping Plover, which occasionally nests here.

Visitors can enjoy swimming, scenic walks, and evening strolls against the backdrop of breathtaking sunsets. Picnic areas and washrooms within the park make it a convenient destination, while the marsh provides a chance to observe an array of wetland species in their natural environment.
