Kennedy House Walk & Talk Tours

Captain William Kennedy was a truly remarkable figure in Manitoba’s history: a prominent Métis, arctic explorer, entrepreneur, and political trailblazer. Kennedy commanded two expeditions in search of Sir John Franklin’s lost arctic voyage. He was a founding member of the Winnipeg Board of Trade and the Manitoba Historical Society. A man ahead of his time: in the 1880s he advocated for the establishment of a rail line to Churchill. And so much more!

Stroll the grounds with our Interpreter this summer to learn more about this fascinating statesman of early Manitoba and enjoy the beautifully maintained gardens.
