Grand Beach Provincial Park
Grand Beach Provincial Park is located on the eastern shores of Lake Winnipeg, and is known for its 3 kilometers of soft white sand and picturesque grass-topped dunes. Perfect for a day of fun or relaxation, visitors can enjoy swimming, kayaking, beach volleyball, or exploring the nearby hiking trails.
The historic Grand Beach Boardwalk offers a glimpse into the area’s history and is a delightful spot to watch the sun set. Don’t miss the chance to marvel at the annual sand sculpture competition in August or spot the endangered Piping Plovers nesting along the shore. For nature enthusiasts, the Grand Marais Marsh is a must-visit for birdwatching, while the Spirit Rock and Ancient Beach Trails provide scenic self-guided hiking experiences.
