Visitors are invited to step back in time to 1854 and experience Christmas as it was celebrated in the early years of the Red River Settlement at the St. Andrews Heritage Centre.
The event features a 30-minute guided tour of the Rectory, led by costumed interpreters, offering insights into historical Christmas traditions and the settlement's heritage. Children can participate in painting ceramic ornaments, while guests explore a selection of holiday gifts.
Additionally, Barb Hoffmann will be on-site from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., creating caricatures for $10 per subject on a drop-in basis—an excellent opportunity to find a unique and personal Christmas gift.
