On June 4th at The Selkirk Friendship Centre from 10am-4pm there will be a gathering for the Tipi Raising and Feast to celebrate Aki Nindoondawaa teachings and gatherings. (Followed by an optional healing circle).

Aki Nindoondawaa -I Heard It From The Land, started with Tipi pole harvesting in Fort Alexander. Men and masculine energy identifying folks were lead by Sweetpea Star to gather poles from the land. Tipi Teachings with Jaime Grasby and Jeannie White Bird was held for women, 2spirit and those identifying with feminine energy.
