Beaconia Beach

Nestled along the southeast shore of Lake Winnipeg, just north of Patricia Beach, lies the serene and secluded Beaconia Beach.

Spanning 3 kilometers of pristine, wide sandy shoreline, this untouched haven boasts natural beauty free from man-made structures. A wide, walkable channel and lagoon separate it from Patricia Beach, offering a unique landscape to explore.

For those seeking a more adventurous experience, a short 5-minute walk south leads to tranquil sand dunes and a clothing-optional area. Beaconia Beach is a perfect retreat for nature lovers and anyone looking for a peaceful escape.

Plan Your Visit!

  • You can access Beaconia via Provincial Road 500 off of Hwy 59, but it’s a little tricky! Drive 1 kilometre and where the paved road turns, proceed straight (don’t turn) onto the gravel road and follow to the parking lot. From the parking lot, there is a path to the beach.

  • Dogs are allowed on the beach but must be leashed at all times.
