Cross Country Skiing

Did you know there are groomed cross country ski trails in Red River North?  Yes, it’s true!  Located at Larters Golf Course, Birds Hill Provincial Park, Grand Beach Provincial Park, and Selkirk Park, there are many trails for your winter enjoyment.

Enjoy a beautiful Manitoba summer day while shopping for locally grown fruit and vegetables, homemade baking, clothing, jewellery, and much more.


  Geocaching is a great activity if you’ve never experienced an area before. By entering coordinates into a GPS, you are taken to locations within Red River North where treasures or “caches” are hidden. Once you discover these hidden boxes, take a prize or “swag” item, sign the log, and continue on your journey. But

        Canada Geese? They flock to Red River North in the fall, and you can too. You’ll see them covering fields north, east and north-east of Selkirk. Although guides and outfitters are available, the usual practice is that hunters make a deal with local farmers to hunt responsibly on their land. Please
