Snow Shoe Trek & Bonfire

January 3 at 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm

Ring in the New Year and enjoy the winter beauty of the aspen-oak forest on this exhilarating 1.8 km trek around Nimowin Trail. Afterwards, enjoy hot chocolate and marshmallows! We’ll provide the snowshoes (or bring your own). Snowshoes fit a variety of sizes, recommended for ages 9+.

Location: Interpretive Workshop (at the end of Nimowin Road)

Interpretive events are FREE for everyone to attend! An adult must accompany children under 12. Remember, park vehicle permits are required year round in provincial parks. For more information, please call 204-654-6739 or email ParkInterpretation@gov.mb.ca.

All participants are encouraged to bring a Tin-for-the-Bin in support of Winnipeg Harvest, and help feed those in need in Manitoba.
